What is the purpose of ALS Film Fund?
ALS is a tragic disease that is growing rapidly. The rate of incidence is as high as that of Multiple Sclerosis, yet the amount of funding for research is grossly inadequate. There is not a significant amount of public awareness for the disease and ALS Film Fund is committed to changing that.
Since it is called ALS Film Fund, does it only support INDESTRUCTIBLE and other films?
No, the name stemmed from INDESTRUCTIBLE which was the first program implemented by the ALSFF. However, INDESTRUCTIBLE is only one of the many programs supported by ALS Film Fund, including other film projects.
Does the money ALS Film Fund raise go towards research?
Not directly. The organization requires its own funding to operate and produce quality work that will effectively educate the public. By putting a face to this disease and showing what it really looks like, we will in turn help research organizations, clinics and schools effectively treat and eventually cure ALS.
What do you do with the money you raise?
The money goes to support the various programs and operating expenses of the organization. Funding allows us to continue with our current programs and implement new ones to reach the public in more creative and accessible ways.
Will Indestructible be in big theaters?
Indestructible had a small theatrical release in the Spring of 2008 in several cities across the United States. Although we continue to seek distribution channels, the primary focus will be on community and medical center screenings as well as DVD sales.

Why do you give movies away for free?
ALS Patients are often unable to work, have numerous medical bills and proper patient care can be financially devastating. Ben always felt it very important that patients receive the movie for free and we will continue to do this in his memory and honor.
Can I host a screening of Indestructible?
